Aal is Well here,

sleeping for 5 hours daily,rest is fine...

Project works are like climbing the whole new mountain with a whole new load of equipments,rest is fine..

Facilities world class but deficit of time,rest is fine..

Here there are beautiful gardens,but only for maintenance not for us,walking uphill or even cycling is very tiring, rest is fine..

Saala machine ka chai,coffee pe pe ke life peeeeeeee(****) ho gaya hai,rest is fine..

INFOSYS: So far, So Good ! Actually its Great !

I heard the batting genius Sunil Gavaskar saying this about greatness. We tend to loosely term every bright part of our life as great but there is a difference between good and great.

But with my share of experiences so far i would still go for the term Great.

Travelled from home city Patna to Mysore on a journey exactly 60 hours to reach to the cozy den of mine from where i am writing this piece.
The journey, which began by boarding the train SanghMitra Express on 3rd December 2009, was unique in many ways,
a. Papa got stuck with the parking lot problem and surprisingly I had mom to rescue for the first time visit to railway station to accompany me to my coach.
b. The train crossed over 7 states of India which was incredible,
Bihar(patna)
UP(allahabad)
MP(jabalpur)
Maharastra(nagpur)
AndhraPradesh(vijaywada)
Tamilnadu(chennai)
Karnataka(bengaluru).

On Sunday 6th december, we checked in, as instructed. The entry procedure was a very simple yet comprehensive.

Phir Mile Sur Mera Tumhara.... Back to our roots....

Hey friends, I am on a fast today on Republic Day & have decided to donate the money saved to any poor person(we have a group called SOFTEN in our organization).

Lets start an initiative "miss a meal or two & contribute to this noble cause".
I know we don't need to starve for donating, but the idea is to fail the pain many other indians r going through & feel the responsibility we have as a citizen of day..
What say ?

Continuing from where i left ...

I have never been a picnic stuff throughout my life as you all know me..
But whenever its about organizing one, specially when noone is willing to, it comes naturally from inside.

This was one of those days when noone was sure about taking up responsibility of the group as a whole, because we hardly know each other yet. And believe me, its easier to control children than young professionals who have just recently got the tags of being gentlemen.
The destination was a wonderful water fall, as it turned out to be. And the group was an incredible bunch of gems.. We all just had everything right and to our pleasure. The water fall was tremendous and yup it was much more than risky at times.
Once i had a pulse of getting at the top to see the origin of the water, it was a risky trekking skill revisited which i have refined after coming from college. And i fell in love with heights again. Once i was midway it occurred to me that climbing up may have been adventurous but climbing down on wet and slippery rocks was a very bad idea. I was tired of the past 3 hours of playing in water and from the top the picture was not very bright.

There were moments when i was not in a position to appreciate the amount of pressure which gravity was applying on my body as well as on my mind, but i kept it simple and before others could sense the nervousness in my smile i got down safe and sound.
I touched a rainbow and helped 'someone' to get a taste of the thrust the natural shower has to offer when it falls right on you. And the person was really grateful for that amazing experience. No guys,relax, i was not flirting..
We as professionals are not supposed to :-):-):-):-)

The rainbow was a treat and i never realised that such a beautiful phenomena of science could happen so close to me as if it were our practical lab. Nature at its best.. I am definitely loving this.. Ta rum pum pum..

Monday sessions are as boring as they can be on any monday and i am looking forward to a good sleep on Tuesday, Republic day.

A Picnic after a long time !!

Hi all,
This is for the benefit or those who think that life at infosys is hectic like hell. Guys we went to picnic and the destination was a waterfall Shivnasamudra(85 km from Mysore).
It was great fun and my first experience of the thrust of the water falling from the mountains. The sound was amazingly soothing and our group was just perfect.:-)

I would come with detailed report soon..
