Wat it means being a single??

I have been in a relationship for more than a year.There were times when i felt it's all over and there were times,when i felt it doesn't exist.Notwithstanding,i had been and i am in a relationship...
The greatest loss that one incurs in the process is losing one way you have learnt to live life,the one way you have learnt to love yourself,the one way you saw and enjoyed your existence.
And by that i mean nothing but being single..... Hoards of literature have been written in the honour of the feeling we call love...poets and people have died, drenched and drunk in alcohol, yet with romance on their lips,in their eyes and in their heart...
I was just wondering why did nobody single ever romanced himself,his secluded yet accomplished life,his freedom and what not...
And then it clicked to me..that it's beautiful to be falling in love but being in a relationship is more than just being in love.While some may find these added frills enchanting..some actually breaks under it.Once fallen,it has been the inability to cope up,to accept that 'being in love' hasn't been the best of the things to have happened, brought the best of the literatures in the world.
Trust me....while there's nothing like being in love.....there's nothing like single too...I wish i could just be single for once,so that i could remember the good old days,get a taste of old times.Nevertheless, i could not think of falling out of love,could not dare dream a life without that beautiful feeling..life is contraries of short where you don't really have the liberty of having everything....
I miss being single,i miss being unpurposefully independent,i miss being crazy,i miss being a joker...In short..i miss being single.but i am happy being in love too..
