in my childhood days, when my dad's colleagues used to visit us, they would always end up asking me.."beta, badde hokar kya banna hai??"..and i always had the same answer to it.."engineer :)"..well, my mother wanted me to become a doctor..but then,
i used to faint everytime i encountered my own blood..
so, to some extent i'm an engineer now..atleast, i have passed all the subjects for the same..and at this point of time,i realize that everything was planned till date..now, none of my dad's colleagues queried on my career once i become an engineer..neither did i think of it in the most pleasant of dreams..
well, this is where i stand for now..trying to figure out what to do next..
moral of the story: next time you ask the same question to a child, follow it up with "what after??"

It's never too late my friend!! it was ur dad's colleagues yesterday..Today it's ur friends. And they do ask what after? But the choice was always with you..Hope you decide to answer the question this time the same way you used to in exuberance as a child.
I think its too late for PD, but we can do one thing, we are now all prepared with the right version of the question for Junior PD.
