We want to fly, to scale those heights, to excel in whatever we do, to do something for our parents, country and society. We know we will be able to face tomorrow with faith and hope, if we tackle today with enthusiasm, interest and enjoyment. We know we're the master of our own destiny. We are the CHANGE, we are L.O.C.

I wish she could read this
There's something about the song "hiriye soniye" that always made me notice it. And the way it finished with that line, "you love only once, rest is life", made it a piece of great admiration.Atleast,in me shail had a consistent appreciator.
But what i have written is immaterial except the line whose depth i could realise in entirety.I don't know how many people i have hurt in my life, but i do feel bad for all of them. But i had never felt worse than this in my life. For last two days, i have been doing whatever i can do to keep myself busy, flirting with every heck of a girl that i could come across, has already drunk twice to my heart content. This time though,to keep someone out of mind.To not let some body's thoughts haunt me.
But that doesn't seem happening. While i myself asked her not to call, i still keep looking at my cell, fondling it without reason in hope that it might show that familiar name once again.when my friends talk about it,i could laugh it away, but at the same time can't stop my eyes from flooding when i am writing this.I still wish that somehow that voice rings in ma ears again, the same voice which enamoured me into losing myself into her .I hope,I cud see those eyes again and loose myself into its stealth once more, just once more.Yeah!I do wish i could get back to her and patch up everything.and i so wish to do that in time before that last string loosens out of the fabric.
But,I am not putting any effort to get back to her.And while i so want her in my life, I pray to god that it doesn't happens.I always thought life is all bout,"chill!!" . It's about being damn care, having a good sleep, having a nice meal. It's about a night out, travelling with a back pack , a sleeper and shorts .
But guess! my notion bout life has never been challenged that strongly..It's complex, my god.
I just wish she did be happy. But i do hope, she doesn't hate me.i wish she could read this someday and realise that walking away from her never meant that i didn't love her.It just meant i have reasons to say that i don't. I wish that she realise their that i still miss her a lot.
And while i am awake here, i so wish to know if she is sleeping well. While i could feel my eyes getting moist, i so pray for that smile on her lips..
Cant believe I had a girl like you and I just let you walk right out of my life, after all I put u thru u still stuck around and stayed by my side,
what really hurt me is I broke ur heart, baby you were a good girl and I had no right, I Really wanna make things right,
cuz without u in my life girl
Im so lonely

SACHIN TENDULKAR a phenomena !!
I have been blessed to be born in the era which saw this genius in action. And I will never get tired watching him bat like the way he does.
Enjoy the following !!
Some of the few best Quotes For The Master Blaster…
"Nothing bad can happen to us if we're on a plane in India with Sachin Tendulkar on it."
- Hashim Amla, the South African batsman, reassures himself as he boards a flight.
"Sometimes you get so engrossed in watching batsmen like Rahul Dravid and Sachin Tendulkar that you lose focus on your job."
- Yaseer Hameed in pakistani newspaper.
"To Sachin, the man we all want to be"
- Andrew Symonds wrote on an aussie t-shirt he autographed specially for Sachin.
"Tuzhe pata hai tune kiska catch chhoda hai?"
- Wasim Akram to Abdul Razzaq when the latter dropped Sachin's catch in 2003 WC.
Sachin is a genius. I'm a mere mortal.
- Brian Charles Lara
"We did not lose to a team called India...we lost to a man called Sachin."
- Mark Taylor, during the test match in Chennai (1997)
"Even my father's name is Sachin Tendulkar."
- Tendulkar's daughter, Sara, tells her class her father's name after the teacher informs them of a restaurant of the same name in Mumbai.
Question: Who do you think as most important celebrity ?
Shah Rukh Khan: There was a big party where stars from bollywood and cricket were invited. Suddenly, there was a big noise, all wanted to see approaching Amitabh Bachhan. Then Sachin entered the hall and Amitabh was leading the queue to get a grab of the GENIUS!!
- Shah Rukh Khan in an interview.
“India me aap PrimeMinister ko ek Baar Katghare me khada kar sakte hain..Par Sachin Tendulkar par Ungli nahi utha Sakte.. “
- Navjot Singh Sidhu on TV
He can play that leg glance with a walking stick also.
- Waqar Younis
'I Will See God When I Die But Till Then I Will See Sachin'
- A banner in Sharjah
On a train from Shimla to Delhi, there was a halt in one of the stations. The train stopped by for few minutes as usual. Sachin was nearing century, batting on 98. The passengers, railway officials, everyone on the train waited for Sachin to complete the century. This Genius can stop time in India!!
- Peter Rebouck - Aussie journalist
There are 2 kind of batsmen in the world. One Sachin Tendulkar. Two all the others.
- Andy Flower
"I have seen god, he bats at no.4 for India"

my first sail
Ask to seamen and not to me
A dial gauge and nothing more,
except the engines roar
No sunset turning the ocean red
just bed to watch and watch to bed
No deep and rolling ocean swell
Just a foul and dirty really smell
No watching the low set ocean aboil
Just temperature, pressure,vaccum and oil
No thought how coat and trim your craft
Just count your turns and check your shaft
No fresh air to salt your blood
Just a cigarette and a cup of mud
If you must go to sea,
lend me your ear..
Don't let them make you an engineer
We blog about this year's resolutions...last year resolutions ....and the accomplishment status...

Falling in love with the game again !!
Cricket at its best. Number one team fighting against the number two. Passion and skills equally matched.
In my view, today's victory over the South Africa would be recorded as one of the greatest ever test victories of not only the Indian National Team but also in the cricketing history. Obviously the victory on the same venue against the Aussies was much above this one but , the fact remains the same that this would go very far in the minds of cricket freaks all across the country.
The importance increases all the more because of the impending danger of the extiction of the support for this form of the game. The crowd at the eden were the real winners, for their enthusiasm proved to be one of the decisive factors of the match.
One more important point that i think made this occasion special, and that being the need of such a performance from our national team to keep the interest of our generation into the game. With age and maturity we tend to loose focus over such seemingly trivial matters such as sports and our interest dies down. Being a big cricket fan myself, i was beginning to feel the pinch of keeping up the support to a cricketing nation whose wins seems to be luck by chance, but thats all history now.
For those who follow the game, the way South Africa executed their plans at Nagpur was mind blowing. Indians were completely taken aback. The crown of being the numero uno was at stake and yet they played into their hands like a novice. But the real character of the game became evident from the comeback at the Mecca of Indian cricket that is eden.
Congratulations to the Indian Cricket Team for such a wonderful feat, and to all cricket lovers across the globe for such an absorbing game.

fate
One insult, one lie
One mark on my wings
And I am unable to fly
One more dream shattered
One less I have to achieve
Trapped I am in this darkness
My wings are broken
Look at what you did with cruel ease
One tear stained broken down girl
I am desperate to breathe
This cage you have imprisoned me in, is suffocating
You have taken my spirit to live
Now only doom and despair surrounds me
There is no way out of this death surrounds me
It’s been that way for weeks yet no one came
My heart frozen blue with tears
In this mournful silence
I know I have to take the bow
With nothing left to plead
I go down on my bullied knees
And surrender unwillingly to fate
With my blood stained wings…….

A different evening, status : peaceful
Spent an evening with children at Karunya Mane, a shelter cum orphanage at Mysore, courtesy SOFTEN (Social Forum To Enable Needy,INFOSYS).
I went to a nearby worship place last Sunday and i can relate to the calmness i had on both these occasions.
The children were so innocent, so sweet and the language was never a barrier between us as i was speculating. The place is being kept up by a foreigner and she is doing a good job.
As i signed on the register as a 'volunteer' behind 3 other Infosions, i had a very little idea of what to expect once inside. But they never seemed like strangers to me, or rather me to them. Believe me you don't need language translators to talk to them, to understand what they meant. So much of mathematics questions, with which it started but as i sat on floor with them they were all over me. I sketched some of the funniest drawings i ever did, some matched to the standards of being recognizable. The mountains and the rivers and the balls and the fishes the ducks and houses, i was a M.F.Hussain in making...
As a child how everything seems to be so simple, how a child acts to get attention or to get what they want. I have read about this so many times, was very small to observe my own, but to see it happening so closely was a marvellous feat.
Mind you, don't interpret from my blog posts that life here is a cake walk. Nope. Its nowhere even close to it. Its a tough nut to crack, but moments like this are very rejuvenating. Of course for others stay tuned to my posts here.
But to feel for some who are not as fortunate as ourselves, who have issues sorting out methods to manage a meal, i owe this to INFOSYS TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED for this opportunity to walk the talk i used to do.
Some names i remember were Lata, tanmoy, arvinda, ... And i am looking forward to meet them again.
Status : peaceful

Sachin! i guess1 is the same jolly good young fellow who never forgets to complement you when you give him a call.he wins your heart and you cut down the line feeling great and happy. But then you realise out of sorts that someone has lied and lied tremendously well for you to believe.Whatever, i don't mind. Niether sachin nor his complements.
See! these assholes have yet again managed to steal limelight as they did on numerous occasions in college.
But bits and pieces put together, we will atleast carve some niche for us.
PD! i guess is really content and happy and i am sure becoming creatively better. The singer, musician and the painter in him is enough to make girls drool over him.But then he remain inclined to grreener pastures(read whatever you like).
Ari!i am sure as of now, people would have started missing your power packed speeches, your flattering presence. A leader to core, you are made to lead people. My friend, go to infosys, carve out a place for yourself and lead people(read saurav) to the path of righteousness.
Last 7 months
As i took that bus out of the Imphal valley, with my mom waving to me,bading me good bye with concealed tears in her eyes,I had nothing but mixed feelings.I was looking forward to the days that were to follow as i was all set to explore a new horizon, a new way of life.Never the less i was scared ,bound by apprehensions.I had no idea how tough things were going to be because if nothing, iwas atleast suppose to earn the honour to put on that uniform and even more the stripes on it. And yes i never thought it was coming easily, but then who was scared of the word tough.
*** Original version:
I was anxious ,distressed, scared.Afterall i had to leave home and gosh! i have to become a soldier..My god! i loved other people wearing that uniform but did i ever wanted it.Yeah! of course, i guess, but then if it comes up easily.I just knew how to sink and then struggle in water and go there, i was suppose to clear a swimming test.
Life would test me to summit and i really have to be tough for that. But then i am really scared of the word tough.
For people:
Reach academy and get set for discipline. And tell you what, it might appear that being disciplined is easy. But i would urge you to have a rethink. Instilling this has been a challenge for which we have to pay price in gross sweat but nothing else.Yeah! sometimes though, it demanded blood in addition to perspiration. But tell you what when it did we oozed blood with fire.
Limbs ached and hurt no end making it tough to stand let alone walking and running. But then we were taught just one thing that as long as you sham , a pain is a pain. But when you decide to make that pain a way of life, you learn how to bear it and then to overcome it.No medicine could ever cure a pain,Pain is the only way you cure pains. And that is how i learn how to "take pain" .
Original version::
Aah! i can't walk. Forget walking, i can't even stand properly.Need to report sick.
How long would we bear this..My limbs are breaking.I am shamming now.i couldn't endure it anymore.
But there are no options, seniors won't let us do it.
so run for whatever resaon.Run to make yourself fittter. Atleast, when we go back, we could have couple of more girl friends courtesy that.
Anyway as things got over, as it has to...
I am in gujarat and the palce is jamnagar. And trust me it's a beautiful place and more so for people who loves birds. and yes, for people who love stags.
Unluckily! for people who love girls, there's very little opportunity.
My bad luck!!

A walk to remember.
It began with a phone call at 10pm, ended with another at 05:30am.
And what happened in between is something which was the real 'Walk to Remember'. A dream walking date, but first let me confirm i can say that.
'Yes !' she says in agreement. And then the remarkable smile, bits and pieces of this and life seems very simple and i feel ready to fight again.
Back to the walk....
It was a night of discoveries, when i not only came in terms with the large part of the unexplored campus of Infosys, Mysore but also quite an untouched part of myself. You all must be wondering.....What am i upto?
It's nothing less than special, but nothing more than that...
Stop wondering and start sharing !

Who sells the largest number of cameras in India?
I know we all are very much bombarded by news and articles from all around but believe me very few of them make it into this blog page.
Have a look at this one, I found it amazing, and thought about sharing it with you all…
Who sells the largest number of cameras in India?
Your guess is likely to be Sony, Canon or Nikon. Answer is none of the above. The winner is Nokia whose main line of business in India is not cameras but cell phones.
Reason being cameras bundled with cellphones are outselling stand alone cameras. Now, what prevents the cellphone from replacing the camera outright? Nothing at all. One can only hope the Sonys and Canons are taking note.
Try this. Who is the biggest in music business in India? You think it is HMV Sa-Re-Ga-Ma? Sorry. The answer is Airtel. By selling caller tunes (that play for 30 seconds) Airtel makes more than what music companies make by selling music albums (that run for hours).
Incidentally Airtel is not in music business. It is the mobile service provider with the largest subscriber base in India. That sort of competitor is difficult to detect, even more difficult to beat (by the time you have identified him he has already gone past you). But if you imagine that Nokia and Bharti (Airtel's parent) are breathing easy you can't be farther from truth.
Nokia confessed that they all but missed the smartphone bus. They admit that Apple's Iphone and Google's Android can make life difficult in future. But you never thought Google was a mobile company, did you? If these illustrations mean anything, there is a bigger game unfolding. It is not so much about mobile or music or camera or emails?
The "Mahabharat" (the great Indian epic battle) is about "what is tomorrow's personal digital device"? Will it be a souped up mobile or a palmtop with a telephone? All these are little wars that add up to that big battle. Hiding behind all these wars is a gem of a question - "who is my competitor?"
Once in a while, to intrigue my students I toss a question at them. It says "What Apple did to Sony, Sony did to Kodak, explain?" The smart ones get the answer almost immediately. Sony defined its market as audio (music from the walkman). They never expected an IT company like Apple to encroach into their audio domain. Come to think of it, is it really surprising? Apple as a computer maker has both audio and video capabilities. So what made Sony think he won't compete on pure audio? "Elementary Watson". So also Kodak defined its business as film cameras, Sony defines its businesses as "digital."
In digital camera the two markets perfectly meshed. Kodak was torn between going digital and sacrificing money on camera film or staying with films and getting left behind in digital technology. Left undecided it lost in both. It had to. It did not ask the question "who is my competitor for tomorrow?" The same was true for IBM whose mainframe revenue prevented it from seeing the PC. The same was true of Bill Gates who declared "internet is a fad!" and then turned around to bundle the browser with windows to bury Netscape. The point is not who is today's competitor. Today's competitor is obvious. Tomorrow's is not.
In 2008, who was the toughest competitor to British Airways in India? Singapore airlines? Better still, Indian airlines? Maybe, but there are better answers. There are competitors that can hurt all these airlines and others not mentioned. The answer is videoconferencing and telepresence services of HP and Cisco. Travel dropped due to recession. Senior IT executives in India and abroad were compelled by their head quarters to use videoconferencing to shrink travel budget. So much so, that the mad scramble for American visas from Indian techies was nowhere in sight in 2008. (India has a quota of something like 65,000 visas to the U.S. They were going a-begging. Blame it on recession!). So far so good. But to think that the airlines will be back in business post recession is something I would not bet on. In short term yes. In long term a resounding no. Remember, if there is one place where Newton's law of gravity is applicable besides physics it is in electronic hardware. Between 1977 and 1991 the prices of the now dead VCR (parent of Blue-Ray disc player) crashed to one-third of its original level in India. PC's price dropped from hundreds of thousands of rupees to tens of thousands. If this trend repeats then telepresence prices will also crash. Imagine the fate of airlines then. As it is not many are making money. Then it will surely be RIP!
India has two passions. Films and cricket. The two markets were distinctly different. So were the icons. The cricket gods were Sachin and Sehwag. The filmi gods were the Khans (Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and the other Khans who followed suit). That was, when cricket was fundamentally test cricket or at best 50 over cricket. Then came IPL and the two markets collapsed into one. IPL brought cricket down to 20 overs. Suddenly an IPL match was reduced to the length of a 3 hour movie. Cricket became film's competitor. On the eve of IPL matches movie halls ran empty. Desperate multiplex owners requisitioned the rights for screening IPL matches at movie halls to hang on to the audience. If IPL were to become the mainstay of cricket, as it is likely to be, films have to sequence their releases so as not clash with IPL matches. As far as the audience is concerned both are what in India are called 3 hour "tamasha" (entertainment). Cricket season might push films out of the market.
Look at the products that vanished from India in the last 20 years. When did you last see a black and white movie? When did you last use a fountain pen? When did you last type on a typewriter? The answer for all the above is "I don't remember!" For some time there was a mild substitute for the typewriter called electronic typewriter that had limited memory. Then came the computer and mowed them all. Today most technologically challenged guys like me use the computer as an upgraded typewriter. Typewriters per se are nowhere to be seen.
One last illustration. 20 years back what were Indians using to wake them up in the morning? The answer is "alarm clock." The alarm clock was a monster made of mechanical springs. It had to be physically keyed every day to keep it running. It made so much noise by way of alarm, that it woke you up and the rest of the colony. Then came quartz clocks which were sleeker. They were much more gentle though still quaintly called "alarms." What do we use today for waking up in the morning? Cellphone! An entire industry of clocks disappeared without warning thanks to cell phones. Big watch companies like Titan were the losers. You never know in which bush your competitor is hiding!
On a lighter vein, who are the competitors for authors? Joke spewing machines? (Steve Wozniak, the co-founder of Apple, himself a Pole, tagged a Polish joke telling machine to a telephone much to the mirth of Silicon Valley). Or will the competition be story telling robots? Future is scary! The boss of an IT company once said something interesting about the animal called competition. He said "Have breakfast ...or.... be breakfast"! That sums it up rather neatly.

In the beginning of the 1970s, once tiger hunting had officially been banned in India, a tiger count was done across the entire country. This lead to the astonishing discovery that only 1800 specimens of this magnificent animal were left. This jolted the concerned authorities and some serious thought went into devising plans to save the tiger. The result was the launch of "Project Tiger" in 1972 at the Dhikala Forest Rest House in Corbett National Park. The main idea behind the project was to provide safe havens for tigers where they could flourish as a species and hopefully reverse the startling decline in their population. The project initially had 9 parks that were chosen for it's implementation. This number has slowly risen and a total of 19 parks are now attached to the project. The project was begun in association with and still receives its main funding from the WWF.
Although the experts affirm that the project has its shortcomings, the increase in the populations of the tiger is clearly evident to even the common man. Many experts had predicted that the tiger would be extinct by the turn of the century, but, whoever may be responsible, the tiger has proudly proved them wrong. Tiger population may not still be in thrilling numbers and poaching still may be quite rampant but a lot more effort is being put into saving this beautiful animal. This is good news for the entire natural treasure of the country because if the tiger flourishes, so will the jungle and vice-versa.
This is a small piece of information from google sir for u all but only information will do nothing..we r not associated with any tiger project or national park so we'll ask ourself that what we can do to save tigers??we may not be connected directly to the tiger conservation but indirectly ..ofcourse we are...we r connected with energy saving in our everyday life...we are connected with cleanliness..we are connected with raising concerns in our fellow mates about the things connected with conservation of tigers, energy, other animals and the mother nature in all...so we can take a step forward and how to speak up,how to convince other people that each of us already knows..so think of sumthing guys n move on...hav fun n take care..life is beautiful...

NEVER mess with children..:P
5 reasons not
to mess with children
A little girl was talking to her teacher about whales.
The teacher said it was physically impossible for a whale to swallow a
human because even though it was a very large mammal its throat was
very small.
The little girl stated that Jonah was swallowed by a whale.
Irritated, the teacher reiterated that a whale could not swallow a
human; it was physically impossible.
The little girl said, 'When I get to heaven I will ask Jonah'.
The teacher asked, 'What if Jonah went to hell?'
The little girl replied, 'Then you ask him'.
*********************************************************************************************************************************************
One day a little girl was sitting and watching her mother do the
dishes at the kitchen sink. She suddenly noticed that her mother had
several strands of white hair sticking out in contrast on her brunette
head.
She looked at her mother and inquisitively asked, 'Why are some of
your hairs white, Mom?'
Her mother replied, 'Well, every time that you do something wrong and
make me cry or unhappy, one of my hairs turns white.'
The little girl thought about his revelation for a while and then
said, 'Momma, how come ALL of grandma's hairs are white?'
*********************************************************************************************************************************************
The children had all been photographed, and the teacher was trying to
persuade them each to buy a copy of the group picture.
'Just think how nice it will be to look at it when you are all grown
up and say, 'There's Jennifer, she's a lawyer,' or 'That's Michael,
He's a doctor.'
A small voice at the back of the room rang out, 'And there's the
teacher, she's dead.'
*********************************************************************************************************************************************
A teacher was giving a lesson on the circulation of the blood. Trying
to make the matter clearer, she said, 'Now, class, if I stood on my
head, the blood, as you know, would run into it, and I would turn red
in the face.'
'Yes,' the class said.
'Then why is it that while I am standing upright in the ordinary
position the blood doesn't run into my feet?'
A little fellow shouted,
'Cause your feet ain't empty.'
*********************************************************************************************************************************************
The children were lined up in the cafeteria of a Catholic elementary
school for lunch. At the head of the table was a large pile of apples.
The nun made a note, and posted on the apple tray:
'Take only ONE . God is watching.'
Moving further along the lunch line, at the other end of the table was
a large pile of chocolate chip cookies.
A child had written a note, 'Take all you want. God is watching the apples.'
